The market for 24h caregivers is intransparent and full of empty promises - unfortunately, I also had to make this experience a few years ago. It is out of this frustration and the wish for change that I, together with my co-founder, started marta.
With our platform, we want to make processes more transparent and efficient, treat caregivers fairly and do everything for the optimal care of your loved ones.

Get started nowCaregivers from marta live in a household with the person in need of care for a certain period of time. Our care workers provide "24-hour care", which means that they are primarily responsible for basic care and household chores. In addition, they support your relatives in need of assistance in carrying out the activities they wish to do. The caregivers are close by when they are needed. Concrete activities and working hours are agreed upon in advance.
At marta, caregivers are placed with people in need of care in Germany. Since we do not use additional agencies for this process, we have our own teams in the caregivers' countries of origin. In general, at marta we do not have a "German" and, for example, a "Romanian" agency, but instead several local teams that work in constant exchange with each other. The local teams recruit, interview and screen all caregivers and create profiles that the team in Germany presents to the families.

Once you sign up, we will add you directly to our database and contact you for every case that meets your requirements.
The family pays for your arrival and departure if they take place within the agreed period. If you want to leave earlier than planned, you may have to pay for the return journey yourself.
To apply for a position we offer, we need to create a profile. For this profile, it is sufficient to include a simple photo, as in any CV (it is an advantage if you are smiling in the picture). For the next steps, after family approval, we only need a photo of your ID. This is necessary, for example, to register with the insurance company or to draw up a contract.
We will accompany you during your work assignment, please let us know of any problems directly. You can always reach us by phone at any time and together we can look for a solution or a new family for you.
You receive the money by bank transfer directly from the family you work for. The family receives an invoice at the end of each month, which we send on your behalf. The transfer is usually made on the 1st of the month at the latest.
The specific tasks are agreed upon individually in advance. Basically, the tasks can be divided into basic care (help with personal hygiene, dressing, sleeping, etc.) and domestic tasks (washing, cleaning, shopping, cooking). You can learn more about that here
